BROOKLYN, N.Y. – November 5, 2018 – Pratt Institute's Shannon Corr was named to the American Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Volleyball All-Conference First team after a standout first-year campaign for the Cannoneers.

In her debut season in black and yellow, Corr was dominant on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball for Pratt as she earned the first all-conference honors of her career.  The Communications Design major registered 208 kills at a .261 clip as she averaged 2.60 kills per set, which ranked sixth best in the conference. Defensively, she put together a great season as well, compiling 165 digs, producing 2.06 per set, to go along with 21 blocks and 48 service aces.

Corr's 208 kills are the most by a Cannoneer since the 2014 season, when sophomore outside hitter Alice Vicente set the program record with 212.

Corr had five matches in which she had at least 10 kills and 10 digs and finished the season leading the team in kills and total attacks, while being second on the team in digs. The middle hitter accounted for over 24 percent of the team's total kills and had nine matches where she hit .300 or better.

Additionally, first-year setter Avery Toomes received honorable mention for All-Conference.
