SCRANTON, P.A. - October 20, 2018 - The Pratt Institute women's volleyball team dropped both of its matches on Saturday afternoon in a tri-match hosted by Marywood University.
King's College (PA) defeated Pratt in straight-sets, with scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-16.
Marywood bested Pratt in three sets, with scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-9.
The Cannoneers are now 11-12 on the season.
In the first match against King's, Madeline Markley totaled a team-high five kills, to go along with five digs while hitting .100. Badesim Julia Kubak added 16 assists and six digs, while Ivana Santascoy registered nine digs. Shannon Corr delivered two service aces to go with eight digs.
In their second match of the day versus the hosts, Emelen Mikelic finished with three kills and five digs, and Markley contributed thee kills as well. Corr chipped in five kills and Santascoy had one assist and 10 digs. Kubak paced the offense with 14 assists.
